Direct Tresspass

She forgot we were married
She does not even want a divorce
So i asked for the ring
She said she threw it in a ring
That moment that we shared,
Everytime we had a meeting

She forgot it was a traditional marriage
Where i would sneak in and say hey to her folks
And she would meet my parents on the road and wave
And i would occassionally help them with family chores
to reduce the bride price

Her siblings became great buddies
Her mother was my greatest counsellor
Her father a distance away in the lakeside city, was always in stitches
Her daughter had never shown interest in Love
Then I cheated on her, I had no excuse
I engaged in extramarital affair
I deserve to be arrested.
So we still look at each other, tears almost falling
Because even if am to be forgiven,
The wound might never heal
